The Honors Math Program is one of our best-selling programs. The first reason is that it pinpoints each student’s weaknesses using our specially designed diagnostic test. The class aims to develop current competencies into algebraic mastery.
This is an integrated Algebra program that includes Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Algebra II. The Honors Math Program does not go by grade level—it is based on each student’s current skill level. The class pace is adjusted to match the student’s learning needs.
With only three students per class, teachers can provide focused attention and personalized coaching for every student.
Like a health clinic where you identify a problem and get treated, we do the same with students’ math skills: we identify what’s holding them back and help them master it. Once students complete this program, they will be prepared to study for the SAT.
The Kangaroo Math Prep Program is designed to help students develop the creative reasoning and strategic thinking skills needed for success on the international Math Kangaroo competition. Unlike traditional math classes that focus on procedures, this program emphasizes logic, pattern recognition, spatial reasoning, and non-routine problem solving—the core strengths measured by the Kangaroo contest.
Students explore a wide variety of engaging, puzzle-style problems that encourage them to think flexibly, analyze multiple solution paths, and apply mathematical ideas in unexpected ways. Through guided practice, discussion, and targeted strategy lessons, students learn how to:
The program includes age-appropriate problem sets modeled after official Kangaroo formats, ensuring students become comfortable with the contest’s unique style and difficulty progression. Students also learn time management and test-taking strategies tailored to the competition’s structure.
Above all, the Kangaroo Math Prep Program aims to nurture a love of mathematical discovery. By engaging with playful yet challenging problems, students strengthen their analytical skills, build perseverance, and develop the confidence to tackle any mathematical challenge.
