SAT Writing and Language
Honors Review’s SAT Writing course is designed to prepare students for the Writing section of the SAT. Our SAT Writing course will refine students’ grammar knowledge, aide students to write sentences properly, and challenge students to analyze essay prompts in a timely manner. Note that while the essay prompt is optional, it is required when applying to higher-level colleges. Considering that essay writing is a necessity far beyond the SATs, Honors Review’s SAT Writing course prepares students for the essay prompt. SAT Math
The Honors Review’s SAT Math program is designed to prepare students for the Math section of the SAT. Our program teaches test-taking strategies and provides sufficient practice of crucial problems for our students. We also teach the core concepts found in the newly redesigned SAT Math test which include Data Analysis, Fundamental and Advanced Algebra, word problems, Geometry, Statistics and Probability. AP Exam Prep.
Due to cancellation of SAT subject tests, Advanced Placement (AP) tests have become more crucial for the college-bound students since the year 2021. Having a good AP exam score inevitably reflects the student's academic capability in the college education, hence the top-tier colleges prefer to admit such applicants with credible evidence. Some students start preparing for AP Bio or Chem in their 10th grade, and continue to take more AP exams until their graduations. Currently, the AP Program offers 38 tests. Scores from these tests are usually partially accepted for the college credit at most two- and four-year colleges.

SAT Practice Lab
SAT Practice Lab is recommended for students who have completed the regular workshop classes. In this class, students will be taking weekly SAT practice tests and go over the test with a teacher. SAT Practice Lab mimics real life test conditions, proctoring students as if it is the actual SAT test day. This program enables students to become familiar with the SATs, and thereby, more confident during the actual day of the test. There are highly rated private schools, Catholic schools, science schools, and more that require students to take an entrance exam. Our Specialized High School Entrance Prep course is specifically tailored to fit the skills needed for each respective exam. Students will learn various test-taking techniques, practice test material with a teacher, and take model tests regularly to equip themselves for the day of the exam. The Special High School Entrance Prep requires commitment, dedication, active participation and focus due to the course’s intensity.

NJ Bergen Academies Prep.
Over 300 students from Honors Review have been accepted to BCA, BCTS and Academies at Englewood through our NJ Bergen Academies Preparation courses. Students who are preparing for the entrance exam of the Bergen Academies or Bergen Tech must be familiar with essay writing, critical reading, pre-algebra, algebra, and advanced analytic skills for mathematics.

The Bergen Academy Prep. English class is designed to guide and improve students’ literary skills in accordance to the English section of the exam. Our practice tests and testing conditions are modeled after the Bergen Academy Prep exam. Students will be challenged in their reading comprehension skills as well as their writing skills. They will be taught to analyze passages, answer critical thinking questions, and write detailed and compelling essays using textual evidence while maintaining structure and proper grammar under time constraints. Not only are our teachers and staff committed to helping students feel confident on the day of the exam, but we are also committed to challenging them to achieve their goals.

SSAT/ISEE Test Prep.
Are you or your child considering private school? If so, we encourage you to begin preparing for the admission test that highly ranked private schools require. Most private schools require the SSAT or the ISEE. Catholic schools prefer the COOP. Whether you or your child needs to take the SSAT, the ISEE, or the COOP, Honors Review offers experienced instructors who can help.

CTY Prep.
Johns Hopkins runs the Center for Talented Youth (CTY), and to join this program, it requires students from 2nd to 6th grade to take something called the SCAT Test. Additionally, the program requires 7th graders and up to take SAT ,PSAT or ACT test. Whatever test is that your child wants to prepare for, Honors Review has experienced instructors who can help.

About Honors Review AP exam prep
Honors Review provides a small group class or an individual lesson for AP program. Our instructors and teachers focus on explaining solutions to practice problems. Students will be provided comprehensive review with an ample number of problems to practice with. It is important that students become familiar with different types of questions and learn to tackle as many as possible. The right type of practice will enable students to recognize short-cuts and various methods to solve any problem that may show up on the actual exam.

American Mathematic Competition (AMC 6th – 11th Graders)
It is known that the top-tier colleges prefer to accept students who have proven their AMC 10 or higher math competition scores for their college admission. It is considered as evidence that the student can study at the college level well. The AMC is a very challenging competition, so many students begin practicing earlier: as early as elementary students studying for AMC 8. Honors Review is an undisputed leader for AMC 8/10 Prep.
